The ES-200 is a dual channel remote station provided with a built-in speaker and a “gooseneck” microphone. This remote station will act as a dual channel beltpack in those environments where the use of a headset is not suitable.
The unit features 2 complete intercom channels, each one including an “ON/OFF” switch (push-to-talk or latching action) with indicative led lamp. Apart from the built-in speaker and microphone, the unit features a male 4P XLR connector, so that a regular headset can be pluged when more privacy is required or when the ambient is too loud. Connecting the headset will automaticaly switch off both the gooseneck microphone and the station speaker.
Like all the rest of the elements in the wired intercom network, the ES-200 will be remotely powered from a base station or from a PS-200 power supply.
As for the installing options, the unit can be installed in a rack, embedded in a wall, or used as a desk station, all of this using the included multi-purpose rack-ears.

The new ALTAIR E-200 SERIES add more features to our popular Espiral E-100 series, maintaining compatibility. All the components in the system incorporate a microcontroller to implement different tasks as Mic Killer, Remote all Buzzer switch-off, Mic Switch Latch or Push To Talk, Program Interrupt, etc. Remote All Mic switch-off helps the operator to maintain a lower noise conversation in noisy environments. Also implemented is the remote All Buzzers switch-off feature to avoid undesired audible CALL signalling during performances. The Master Station unit powers all the System components and incorporates new special features as System Expandability or Battery Operation. System Expandability permits creating a multichannel (4, 6, or more channels) Intercom System by using more Master Stations in a daisy chain arrangement. This feature enables freedom in the System design and in-site future upgrades. Rental companies can benefit with lower component inventories. Our new internal Battery operation permits short-time communications in difficult situations (= no Power) of emergency. The ALTAIR ES-200 intercom user unit, in desk format, has two rack ears as standard to allow installation in a 2U rack. This system allows to choose several inclinations as well as to be embedded in panels. This unit is powered remotely by intercom cables. Includes gooseneck speaker and microphone. It has a headphone connection with a microphone and when you connect a headset, it automatically disconnects the speaker and microphone from the panel. |
