  Since today, normally high frequency sound pressure levels are created by massive 2?-compression-drivers in combination
  with frontloaded horns. Relatively high mass of the diaphragm and the voice-coil must be moved by the magnet- structure.

  Limited high frequency-response, relatively high distortion and a bad impulse-response-time are the results. Also is power-compression,
  the overall weight of the total magnet-material and, last but not least, unnatural sounding phase- and interference effects are
  creating problems in multiple line-arrays, as they are popular used right now.

  That new AMT with all his advantages is eliminating those problems in power, high-frequency-response, weight and has a excellent sound-quality.
  Compared with a standard 2?compression-driver our RD 5.5 has a 4 times greater diaphragm surface (approx. 5,5?) with less weight and internal interferences.

  The precisely folded diaphragm in the RD 5.5 creates a perfectly flat frequency-response by having no power-loss in high

  frequencies.
  The total weight of only 2,5 kg is a another big advantage for the design and production and the use of nearly any

  audio-loudspeaker-system, specifically high-power speaker- clusters but also in studio-monitors and other reference-loudspeakers.
